Attorney J.B. Bricklemyer

McLin Burnsed is happy to welcome attorney Joseph B. (J.B.) Bricklemyer to the firm. His presence adds to our already extensive experience and ability to deal with complicated real property, land use, development and residential/commercial real estate law.

J.B. was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from The Citadel in 1987.

After serving as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, J.B. attended the University of Southern Maine, where he received his Master of Business Administration, with honors, in 2003. After a two-year military deferment, J.B. attended the University of Florida's Levin College of Law and earned his Juris Doctor, with honors, in December 2008. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and the Nebraska Bar in 2014.

J.B. Bricklemyer is a member of the Florida Bar (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section) and the Lake County Bar Association. J.B. joined the firm in May 2022 in the Real Estate and Land Use area and represents individuals, businesses, lenders, developers and real estate brokers in both residential and commercial transactions and planning.

J.B. gives back to his community by providing pro bono legal representation for the American Legion Posts in his area and volunteers with the local Ducks Unlimited chapters.
