After hire, who will I work for?
After hire, our associates are assigned to work in a particular practice group. Each practice group typically has a partner who oversees the group together with several senior and junior associates.
Does the Firm mandate billable hours goals?
Yes. All non-partner attorneys are expected to bill 1,800 hours per year.
How long before I assume responsibility for a client's legal matters?
Our size and partner-to-associate ratio affords associates the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibilities early in their careers. We encourage hands-on training and the development of close working relationships with partners, senior associates and clients. We are committed to providing all of our attorneys with the tools and resources necessary to successfully practice law at the highest level. A young attorney's level of responsibility is dictated by his or her desires and capabilities — allowing talented associates to realize their maximum potential within a minimum amount of time.
Does the Firm have a partnership track?
McLin Burnsed rewards talented attorneys without regard to a formalized partnership track structure.
